Our Story
The Philippines- is an archipelagic country of more than 7,600 islands and known as the “Pearl of the Orient Seas”. A gateway to Southeast Asia with approximately 106 million people of mixed races and cultures where Filipino and English are the official languages and down with abundant natural resources, tropical rainforests, and extensive coastlines makes it some of the world’s most biodiversity and eco-tourism has hidden. The country dreams to be a greater nation in terms of economic development through its global partnerships with the rest of ASEAN and other Asian countries as well as the rest of the world. With Modernization Technology, Foreign Trade Policies and good investments, and Human Resources, Infrastructures, and Good Governance the Vision is within reach. Although realizing the vision may not come easy, the country may indeed need support outside the government from humble beginnings emerged a businessman, philanthropist, environmentalist, artist, and social civic leader. Mario Marcos whose dreams to help and share his commitment to alleviate off the lives of the Filipino people has more than two decades of social experience with the Pugad Lawin, Nueva Vizcaya, Junior International Legaspi, and The Rotary Club of Padre Burgos. Both civic organizations started him to organize more humanitarian and charity works all in the intention of uplifting his fellow Filipinos.

Hence, on September 15, 2015, Mario Marcos organized his group of entrepreneurs and civic leaders and lead him to establish SUPER MARIO ALLEVIATION & RESPONSE TEAM Foundation Incorporated or SMART Foundation Incorporated, a non-stock or non-profit organization.

Our Mission & Approach
With the objectives of giving aid and providing Technical Assistance and related services in the professionalism of the working sector in the areas of Agriculture, Arts, Environment, Health, Housing, Livelihood, Security, Safety and Technology. Providing assistance and related programs for continuous social economic growth and ameliorate the standards of living of its beneficiaries and their families. And Lastly, Giving the tool for the enhancement of the disaster preparedness, mitigation, and response programs that will save lives in times of calamities.
Since it’s a Foundation, SMART Foundation Incorporated has sphere-headed several projects including Donate Blood save lives of Bloodletting Campaign in Albay, Organized Relief Operations at the high of Typhoon Niña, Medical and Dental Missions, Gift giving for the Christmas seasons to the Senior citizens, Indigents, and to the Persons with Disability (PWD), Feeding programs and health supports consciousness for the less fortunate once, Seminars and Disasters Management and dispatch Rescue Operations with volunteers during calamities and typhoons the name of you.
SMART Foundations continuously improve and plan to posture the resources and manpower providing assistance during calamities by conducting disaster responses, training programs, and procuring additional equipment and supplies for rescue operations.
The Foundation will be soon launching Mobile Clinics that will regularly conduct medical and health operations in poverty-stricken areas as well as bringing rescue equipment vehicles for rescue operations in Albay.
SMART Foundation Incorporated with its strong Vision will uphold its Mission of promoting Education by giving opportunities and assistance to students who seek knowledge and discipline to be the next nation builders and leaders, Lead selfless rescue and assistance campaigns during times of catastrophes and disasters, Encourage both Government and Non-government organizations to unite and land each other hand in times of natural calamities and unprecedented devastating events without bias and racism.
Further development the countries culture and arts by encouraging in local craftsman and artists to hone their artistic skills and crafts. Likewise, supports the development of culture and arts by promoting local Filipino talents through films, art exhibits, and other means of exposure.
And lastly, the SMART Foundation Incorporated aids the development of a country’s technology and research by sharing advanced studies equipment, and facilities through rural areas and conducts seminars and workshops on the latest technological and industrial trends to provincial areas which will help rural communities to progress.
